i will ask the basic questions and then move on to more in depth questions

1Age,Gender
2what you like about horror films
3what do you expect a horror film to contain
4what makes you watvh the next film in the serise
5what would make a horror film better?

Interview questions
Do you like horror film trailers?
Yes

What do you enjoy most about them?
The adrenalin

What would make them better in your opinion?
Longer because short trailers give too much about the film away

What would be the ideal length of a horror film trailer?
One Minuit

secondary research

The best horror trailers ask a question. They set up a premise or a situation, and then leave the viewer wanting to know more. One of the best examples is the original 'Alien' (1979) trailer. The camera splices shots of the film with a long, slow pull back of a large, alien egg. The egg cracks, emitting an eerie glow and the trailer ends with the subscript "In Space, No One Can Hear You Scream." The trailer doesn't really tell us about the characters, doesn't establish much at all. All we know is something horrible is going to come out of that egg, something that makes people screams. We, the audience, want to know what's in that egg.

secondary research is where it has already been collected  so there is no need to collect it yourself

Target Audience

Target Audience

Demographics -

Age - I am going to aim my production at teenagers aged 13-19 as I feel this is the ideal age for a stop motion animation but it could also appeal to younger audiences because of the way i am going to make it.

Gender - it will be aimed at both male and female

Hobbies - My production will be aimed at people who like watching animated video's created using different animating methods for example, some people may like watching stop motion videos whereas some may prefer a more cartoon sort of animation, and people who are into playing computer games because they know what makes a good animation from cut scenes in games.

Occupation - Students currently attending school or collage as it may give them an idea of what they would do on their course when they move up to collage.

Language - I will do a version where it is in english and maybe a version with subtitles for other languages to make it more appealing to a wider audience of people

Music - The opening theme music must be catchy instantly so people will want to watch the video instead of tuning out immediately because they do not like the music that has been used.
